Jim McCalla, AIA

With over 30 years of educational facility design experience, Jim is Moseley Architects’ K-12 team leader. He values opportunities to apply his expertise assisting clients in creating the most effective design solutions for their educational programs.  Jim is based in the Richmond office.


Bill Brown, AIA

Bill offers clients extensive educational facility design knowledge gained over the course of his 30-year career. Based in the firm’s Fairfax location, he enjoys collaborating with clients and communities to achieve their visions for their schools.


Jim Copeland, AIA

Having joined Moseley Architects in 1981, Jim has dedicated his career to partnering with school districts and educators to design schools.  An advocate for high performance design, Jim enjoys designing learning spaces that incorporate sustainability strategies.  Jim is based in the Raleigh office.


Jim Henderson, AIA

Jim manages the firm’s Harrisonburg office. He has spent his entire career with Moseley Architects and understands the importance of designing schools that resonate with educators and students.


Bill Laughlin, AIA

Bill manages K-12 projects in North and South Carolina.  He imparts his educational facility expertise to directly benefit school clients.  A leader in the firm for more than two decades, he cites client satisfaction as his motivation. Bill is based in the Charlotte location.


Doug Westmoreland, AIA

A career-long school architect, Doug shares his enthusiasm for designing inspiring learning environments with clients and colleagues alike.  A champion for consensus building, he strives to deliver designs that respond to curriculums and respect budgets.  Doug is based in the Richmond office.
