Buckhorn Creek Elementary School is a 112,607-square-foot facility designed to accommodate 800 students. Located in Holly Springs, the facility is based on a Wake County Public School System prototype. To meet evolving educational learning and teaching trends, the plan was updated to include nearly 10,000 square feet of collaboration and learning commons spaces. These shared spaces were added at the end of each classroom wing corridor to be easily accessible to classrooms—many of which feature movable glass walls to foster flexibility.
