The French Creek Mess Hall offers a modern dining experience, including high-efficiency kitchens, salad bar, bakery, and outdoor dining. Three dining areas with specialty menu serving lines include fast food and carry-out. The facility also includes administrative offices and staff support spaces. This single-story mess hall features vibrant colors and artwork suitable for today’s ultra-active modern warrior and is an uplifting, comfortable, market-place atmosphere for military personnel.
The facility was designed to establish a new and higher standard of function, efficiency, maintenance, and security for galley projects. It is the first LEED Platinum dining facility for the Department of Defense and represents Marine Corp Base Camp Lejeune’s first LEED Platinum certification.
