McLean Governmental Center

Fairfax County
McLean, Virginia

Moseley Architects collaborated with Fairfax County to create a facility that provides sufficient space to meet current and future needs and supports operational requirements. A phased construction plan allowed the police department to remain operational. The expanded and renovated building houses police functions including patrol, criminal investigations, technical services, evidence, operations support, and suspect processing. Both the county supervisor’s offices and chamber of commerce offices are substantially enlarged and improved. A community meeting room was also added. The project achieved LEED Gold certification.
