Front Royal Police Headquarters

Town of Front Royal
Front Royal, Virginia

Front Royal’s new police headquarters stands as a point of community pride for the records it broke. It was town’s first new construction project since its town hall in 1935. It also reunited the entire department that had been dispersed in separate buildings due to its years of continual growth. The new headquarters unifies all police functions in a facility designed to accommodate their needs for the next 40 years.

The 15,700-square-foot main building includes administrative suites for the chief, investigations, patrol, and communications/911 dispatch, each with workstations, offices, and meeting spaces. The department’s training room also serves as a free-of-charge meeting space for community organizations. An adjacent support building provides space for police equipment, evidence storage, fingerprint laboratory, motorcycles and bicycles, and vehicles.
