Moseley Architects is currently partnering with Cleveland County to design a new justice campus located in the historic downtown district of Shelby, North Carolina. The project will consist of a new 38,00-square-foot sheriff’s office, a 151,000-square-foot courthouse, a 140,000-square-foot detention center with 460 beds, and parking areas. The law enforcement center will include spaces for the sheriff’s law enforcement division, including narcotics, patrol, civil, and investigations. Prior to design, Moseley Architects collaborated with the county with several needs assessments of the facilities.
