As Prince William County Public Schools’ 13th high school, the 345,000-square-foot Gainesville High School eases overcrowding in neighboring schools and centralizes functions that were previously dispersed on the site. The design was based on a prototype proven to be successful in Patriot High School, but modified to increase capacity, improve natural light, and provide updated learning environments.
