Mondloch Place

Fairfax County
Alexandria, Virginia

Originally a homeless shelter, Mondloch Place now resembles a bed and breakfast with a wrap-around porch. The existing two-story facility was renovated and expanded to meet county needs. The updated facility offers studio apartments to individuals who have been homeless for many years. Apartments feature new kitchens and space for a bed and televisions. The facility also features on site support staff and services and parking for 28 vehicles. This project became an EarthCraft Certified Multi-Family project in 2014.
