The new student recreation center is designed to define the northern end of the campus quad and accommodate a variety of sports and wellness activities, including basketball, racquetball, and aerobics. The center features a fitness center with cardio and circuit training equipment, gymnasia, an indoor track, a racquet ball/cardio room, locker rooms, and a lobby space with billiards, table tennis, and vending.

The project earned LEED Gold in 2015. Notable sustainable design features include: green cleaning, triple-glazed windows with a low-E coating to increase energy efficiency, and highly-reflective paving and shading of paved surfaces to reduce the heat island effect.
