After designing the original judicial center in 2009, our team partnered with the county again for an expansion and renovation nearly a decade later. The county needed to strengthen the building’s security and create a more prominent main entrance. The addition provided a new security screen area and created a centrally located entrance to welcome the community. Increasing case loads necessitated new courtrooms for both general district and juvenile/domestic relations. The project upgraded lighting and mechanical equipment, as well as improved utility infrastructure. These updates enhance spaces, decrease operating and utility costs, and increase safety.
