Barton Pond Elementary School is based on a prototype design of an E-plan configuration, in which three classroom wings branch from the main core curriculum and administration spaces. Learning commons are provided in each classroom wing. The first-floor features administration and student services spaces; media center; 300-seat dining area, multipurpose play areas; art and music classrooms; resources rooms, and kindergarten, first, and second grade classrooms. The second-floor houses resource rooms and third, fourth, and fifth grade classrooms.
