Moseley Architects Relocates Charleston Office

On Monday, Nov. 7, Moseley Architects’ Charleston team will begin operating from their new office in the Charleston Technology Center in the Upper Peninsula.

The move from Markfield Drive in West Ashley to Morrison Drive marks the culmination of rapid growth following the merger of Moseley Architects and Cummings & McCrady in 2021. Since that time, the Charleston branch’s revenue and its number of staff have doubled.

“Moseley Architects’ Charleston branch, formerly Cummings & McCrady, has continuously operated in the City of Charleston since 1957 with roots going back to 1911 with the John McCrady Company. The move back to the peninsula will put us in a thriving and up-and-coming area with a central location for our staff and clients.”

At 3,170 square feet, the new office is twice the size of the West Ashley office where the team had operated as Cummings & McCrady since 2010. Sixteen-foot-tall windows allow abundant daylighting in the open-plan workspace and provide sweeping views of the Cooper River. In keeping with their longstanding commitment to sustainability, Moseley Architects is planning an upfit to achieve LEED and WELL certifications in 2023.
